The engraved QR code leads to a customizable emergency web app with key details such as medical information, contacts, and even a message board where all involved parties can exchange pictures and messages in real time—no registration required.

The pet tag makes communication between the finder and the pet owner much easier.

Via the QR code, the pet finder or veterinarian (e.g. in an emergency) can access the following information without registration:

The location of the person who scanned the code can also be detected and shared (legal consent from the finder is required). This way, you can see where your pet was located. No! With your purchase, your SOS pet tag can be used without any additional costs for a full 5 years. After that, it can be extended for another 5 years with a one-time renewal fee.

No, the SOS pet tag is not a GPS tracker. You cannot actively track your pet’s location like with a GPS collar.

However: If someone scans the QR code (e.g. a finder or vet), their location can be recorded – with their consent – and sent to you. This lets you know where your pet was last seen – perfect for emergencies.
