Description
Thanks to the digital key tag with an individual QR code, the owner of the keys can be contacted anonymously—without revealing any personal contact information. This enhances security and ensures that the owner's data remains private.
The anonymous and GDPR-compliant location sharing feature helps coordinate a suitable handover location. The finder can share their current mobile location with the key owner, who can then view the spot using Google Maps.
Especially in cases where house keys are lost, quick contact is essential. Unlike traditional key services, the owner can be reached immediately via smartphone. Often, the key handover can be arranged on the spot and completed within minutes.
How it works:
- Someone finds the lost keys and scans the QR code.
- The key owner receives an automatic scan notification via email, letting them know someone has found the keys.
- The finder can enter their name, callback number and/or email, and a short message using a contact form.
- This information is immediately sent to the key owner via email (the finder's details are not disclosed).
- The key owner can then contact the finder to agree on a handover location (e.g., checkout counter at a supermarket).
- Optionally, the finder can share their live location via email in a privacy-compliant way.
- The owner retrieves the keys at the agreed meeting point—usually within a short time.
IMPORTANT: An active internet connection is required to access the data and contact information.

Instruction Manual
The online user manual and FAQs for the SOS key tag can be accessed at any time via the main menu directly in the WebApp once you are logged in. Alternatively, you can also access the user manual using the following button:
Recommendation: Installation on Smartphones main screen
Make it easier to access your data without having to scan the QR code again by saving it directly to your smartphone.
Android: Smartphone, Tablet (Chrome browser)
In the browser menu, select 
“Add to Home screen”. Choose a name and complete the process by tapping “Add”. An icon will then appear on your home screen. Just like a native app, you can now easily access your QR code online.
Apple: iPhone, iPad (Safari browser)
In the browser menu 
next to the address bar, tap the icon with the upward arrow and select “Add to Home Screen”. You can then choose a memorable name and finish the process by tapping “Add”. A shortcut icon will be added to your home screen.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Protect the printed or engraved QR code from mechanical damage such as impacts, scratches, or abrasion. Avoid contact with chemical substances or intense sunlight. The item can be cleaned with lukewarm water, soap, and a soft brush using light pressure.
Not suitable for washing machines.
If the QR code still becomes unreadable, you won’t lose any data! All data and information are securely stored in a reliable data center and can be linked to a new DynaTag product. Additionally, your data can be accessed and updated at any time via your DynaTag or Thync.it customer account.

How does the SOS key tag work?
The tag is equipped with an individual QR code. Finders can scan the code and immediately contact you via an anonymized contact form. The form can be filled out directly in the WebApp.
Which information can be accessed via the QR code?
The finder cannot access any of your data or personal information. He or she can only fill out the contact form and leave a message. This message will be forwarded to your email address through our system. The finder will not be able to see your email address.
How secure is my data on the WebApp?
Discretion is our top priority. All data stored with us will never be analyzed or shared with third parties.
What happens when someone scans my QR code?
When the QR code is scanned, a WebApp automatically opens in the smartphone’s browser, showing only a contact form.
No additional app is required.
The finder’s location can be recorded and transmitted if they agree (for legal reasons, the finder’s consent is required).
Can I update or change the data myself?
Yes! With your purchase you receive free access to your personal user account (created during activation). There you can update your contact details at any time remotely, upload a new cover photo, or adjust existing information – easily via smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Are there any subscription fees or monthly costs?
No! With your purchase, your SOS key tag can be used without any additional costs for 5 years. After 5 years, the tag can be extended for another period with a one-time renewal fee.
How secure is my data?
Your personal data remains invisible to finders. Contact is made anonymously via the WebApp. All data is stored exclusively on secure Swiss servers.
