Both solutions can be useful in an emergency, but they follow different approaches. DynaTag provides helpers with important information, while electronic emergency systems can actively trigger an alarm.

Is the DynaTag SOS emergency wristband an emergency call button?
No. DynaTag does not trigger an automatic emergency call and has no alarm button. After the QR code is scanned, the wristband gives helpers access to the emergency information and contacts you have shared.
Do helpers need an app?
No. The QR code can be scanned using the standard smartphone camera. The information you have shared opens directly in the browser. On NFC models, the NFC chip can also be used.
What information can helpers see?
You decide which information is shared. This can include emergency contacts, medications, allergies, health information, personal details, photos and other important information.
Does the emergency wristband have GPS or permanent tracking?
No. The DynaTag emergency wristband does not provide permanent GPS location tracking and does not monitor your location. A helper can voluntarily share their current location through the DynaTag WebApp.
Does the emergency wristband need a battery?
No. The QR code requires neither a battery nor power. The NFC chip in the corresponding models is also passive and does not require its own battery.
Where is my data stored?
Your information is stored on the DynaTag data platform in Switzerland. You decide which personal information is stored and made visible to helpers.
Can I change my information later?
Yes. Emergency contacts, medications, health information, personal details and notes can be updated at any time through your DynaTag WebApp.
Does DynaTag work without internet access?
To access the digital emergency information, the helper's smartphone needs an internet connection. The wristband itself does not require a SIM card, mobile network connection or battery.
Are there any ongoing costs?
Five years of access to the DynaTag platform are already included with your purchase. No additional subscription is required during this period.
Can I manage several emergency wristbands with one account?
Yes. Multiple DynaTag products and profiles can be managed through one user account. This is practical for families or people using several personal products.
